gOOdbYe BraZiL!!

Brazil was sent home by France in World Cup 2006!! I purposely woke up at 3am to watch the samba show, and eventually it turned up to be a farewell show! No doubt that France did a good job and they deserved to win the game. But as a supporter of Brazil, I was really upset with the results. No more Brazil. No more Samba. They can’t even enter the semi-final. =(

Goodbye Brazil. Hope to see a better you 4 years later!

Day trip to Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park

I had a day trip with my church-mates in Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park last Saturday. The place is being developed by FELDA, and it's well maintained. We can smell of the sulfur once entering to the park.

Main entrance of the Hot Springs Park

You can bring eggs and boil it here. The temperature is around 100c.

Our lunch in Kampar. Famous curry chicken bread. The curry is yummy!!

My car was coming!!

Yes, I'm talking about my first car, my very first car. After waiting for 5 months, finally I managed to collect my car on 20th May. I have heard of few complaints from my friends' friend about some minor defects on their new MyVi. A little bit worrying that same things will happen, I carefully checked thru my car and found 2 line scratches on my dashboard. I was unhappy and complaint to the staff, but they claimed that nothing much they can do, except for taking the photos of the scratches and asking for a witness, then complaining to Perodua. I wonder what action will Peroda take??!!

Found that the sound from gear box is a bit loud, and the car is slightly under power when climbing hill. The fuel consumption with 1.3 Auto Premium is a bit high, as I can only manage to drive for about 360km with RM50 petrol,ie approximately13.85km/liter. Well, perhaps all these are due to the new engine.

Anyway, no regret of buying Myvi!! ^-^V

LonG-awAiting IPOH TriP

One of my colleagues had been talking about organizing a trip to his home-town, Ipoh since last year. Finally this long-awaiting trip becomes a reality on 13th May. Special thanks to MoonCake, our co-organizer. ^-^

Departing from KL at 7am, we reached the famous Foh San Dim Sum, Ipoh at around 8:30am. The restaurant was already packed with people and we had to wait for the empty table. I did enjoy the dim sum very much as they have a lot of choices and most of them are quite tasty.

After the breakfast, our next destination is Kek Lok Cave.

Nice view inside the cave. We did visit few other caves but I can't remember their names. :P

Nice and famous Ipoh White Coffee!!!

A visit to Taiping Lake. Photo was taken with few of my colleagues. Leng mou? :P

My first nephew

My first nephew, Gabriel... handsome or not?? :P Last month I've managed to go back to Sarawak with my eldest sister. We spent few days in my hometown, Bintulu before going to Kuching for his Full Moon.

Like any baby, he always cry, whenever hungry, sleepy or not feeling well. Can't imagine how much energy he used to cry. Nevertheless he's still so cute. Looks like my sister especially when smiling. Looking forward to see him growing up! ~^-^~
